The Tower is a game mode where player can organize up to nine units in a formation to challenge waves of enemies. To enter The Tower player need at least to have mercenary level 10. Unlike traditional game mode, instead of using Skill, here players able to take action directly in battle. Each evolution variant has different skill that can be used in battle. The Tower also offer free movement at battle area instead of only 3x3 area.
To challenge Tower player need to spend Stamina like normal Hunt. Clearing challenge will yield player with Tower Points. By accumulating tower points player can increase the tower level, higher tower level offer greater rewards but of course the enemies also will be harder to beat. Tower points can be used to buy Equipments and Materials from Tower Shop. Player can enter Tower screen by go to Home > Hunt > The Tower.
Player can also compete with others in term of Tower Points in a designated group of 100 (?) players. Ranking determined by player's acquired tower points between 1st day (00:00 AM) and last day (11:59 PM) of the month (JST), ranking updated every hour. By reaching the top rank, players will obtain Title reward. Title grants player with additional bonus for Hunt and Great War. The rank will reset each 1st day of next month at 00:00.
By accumulating certain points, tower level will increase. Higher tower level will have higher difficulty, stronger enemies and boss, but the tower points gained also increased, the chance to receive better chest dropped also raised. Each level has different stamina cost and number of enemies waves also different.
For Tower, player can compose five parties, each party can be composed of units up to 9 members, including MC. Note that same unit can only included once in each party. Player compose party in 6x6 tile formation, 2 column red (vanguard), 2 column green (middle), and 2 column blue (rear). Formation almost similar with Basic Formation of Great War. Units can only used skill corresponding to tile color/position it's assigned to. So when an unit placed to red tile, it can only use vanguard skill, if green only middle skill, and blue for rear skill. Keep that in mind when building a party. Each party can only be used every 30 minutes, but can be refreshed immediately at a cost of 20 Spirit Crystals. Edit party can be done in The Tower > Edit Platoon.
Battle can be started by clicking Entry button in The Tower home screen. Player should notice information about stamina cost and enemies waves before head to battle. After picking a party to be used, player will enter battle. In the battle, unit can move anywhere on the battle field. Player can order units to move by tap and drag a unit to destination tile. Each unit can only move for a limited step, it's depend on its action speed. For example unit with 90 action speed can move up to 9 tiles.
Player can order all of units to act by a set of command:
- Manual. Unit won't move at all. Player need to move unit individually.
- Collect. When a chest dropped from enemies unit will try to collect it.
- Assemble. All unit will gather around MC, useful to regroup formation/
- Attack. Unit will aggressively attack enemies.
Unlike usual hunt, here MC join the battle directly by using his skill, every evolution variant has different skillset. Other difference is player can't use active skill and passive to help in battle. It's stated that MC get stats boost bonus, the amount based on acquired abilities. The more abilities player have, the higher the bonus. Player can check the Tower stats and skill in Home > Edit > Player's Info > Tower.
In battle enemies and bosses will drop chest, the chest can be collected manually by order an unit to retrieve it or when all enemies wiped it's all collected automatically. Enemies wave can be cleared in two ways: 1. wipe all enemies, and 2. make MC go to stair found in the floor. When MC go to stair, the wave will be skipped, the downside is player got no wave clear points and miss uncollected chest.
Trap is item that can be used in Tower battle. It can be bought from Tower screen by using Gold or Spirit Crystal. There is also daily/weekly mission that give traps as reward. Each trap has its own function. To use traps player can tap Push button at right side of battle screen to show trap item menu. Tap the trap and drag them to battle field. Note that player can only use one Meat trap (Monster Meat and Dragon Meat) per enemy wave. Other trap beside meat (Steel Trap, Bomb, and Decoy) can be used multiple times per wave, but each has cooldown time before player can use it again.

Mastering the use of traps can determine the outcome of battle, player should use traps wisely.
Boss is a strong enemy that randomly appear in battle. Boss occupy a large area tile (3x3, 4x4, 5x5) and has strong attack move. It can use a charge attack that knocked back units, even its own allies, and also has large AOE attack, different boss has different AOE pattern. Boss has a level, start from level one and maxed at level 21. Each time player defeat boss, boss will leveled up at next appearance. Higher level boss has upgraded attack, higher crit chance, has larger AOE, and faster skill cooldown. Player has 5 minutes time to defeat the boss.
It's better to spread units when facing a boss so they won't be caught in boss area attack. When boss appears, he/she will target one of unit to use the deadly charge attack, spreading units can be used to predict who is the target. Boss will continue to charge until he/she killed the target. If player can identify who's the target, move that unit far away from main formation, so other units won't be caught in the charge. Tips: Boss charge can be stopped by using a meat. When the boss start charging, throw meat at the floor, he/she will stop and start moving to the meat position.
To face a boss, have a unit as a tanker to soak damage, make boss hit the tanker and position some healer behind it. Other units then can start to hit the boss. Boss has a weak point, indicated by purple box in its tile. It's recommended to attack those weak points to deals more damage. Each boss has different position for its weak point. Boss also has a resistance to certain attributes, makes it resist attack with those attributes.

Boss can appear in every wave. By defeating a boss, player can randomly receive chest drop contains valuable item. The probability of boss appearing can be tracked by percentage bar at the bottom of battle screen. Player can lure the boss by using some traps, for example Monster Meat and Dragon Meat, those traps increased the probability of boss appearance. By defeating boss, player will get a bonus points, increasing tower points gained. After defeating boss the battle will be over, even if it's only in the first wave.
If player defeated by boss or when played decide to run towards stair instead of facing boss (because the boss TOO STRONK), a Monster icon will appear on Entry button at Tower main screen. Player can directly challenge the boss at the cost of half usual stamina. Boss will retain remaining health from previous engagement.
There is various type of units encountered at tower area. At normal tower stage they weak to elemental attack, an elemental attack will deals critical damage when landed. At limited tower event stage, they only weak to one element and resist the other.
There is four type of chest dropped from enemies and boss: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Purple. Not only from drop, there is also a chance a chest already appeared on the floor when player enter the battle area. Player can check the chest reward from Tower info before heading to battle. Chest can contain items like materials and equipment. Material can be used to craft special tower equipment and also to learn some skill.

Battle result determines tower points received. These condition affect points:
- Wave Clear. More waves cleared more points.
- Subjugation Bonus. If player can defeat a boss will receive additional points.
- Damage Bonus to Boss. Received when deals damage to boss weak points (?)
- Remaining Time Bonus. The faster to clear battle the higher the points gain.
The higher tower rank apparently also increase points.
Acquired tower points determine player rank in Tower. Spending some tower points at shop won't reduce player rank. Rank will reset every month. Based on accomplished rank, player will acquire Title for Hunt and Great War.
Title only given to player that has rank between 1st - 75th. Players won't get Title when they have 0 point, even if they're in rank range. Title last until end of the month.

Tower shop sell legendary class armor for Rou and 8 generals units and also sell several valuable materials needed to craft MC equipments, unlock MC evolution, or learn some skills. Tower shop use tower points as its currency.

Event stages that last for about a week. Not offered all the time. They contain various stuff that are not available in the other quests. Limited event has its own ladder separate from normal monthly ladder, it also has its own reward for certain ranking range.
- Sometimes allies attacking blank space, they think the enemy is there but actually it's not. It's caused by enemy that got charged by boss and thrown to other place when player throw meat to floor. When that's happen, maybe enemy state of data and sprite doesn't match, it'll make enemy invincible. The only way out of this is heading towards stair.
